In the traditional Chinese medicine approach, qi is the basic building block that builds existence. Everything in the universe is a result of the movement and transformations of qi. Qi is also defined as the life energy/force that circulates within us. It is considered the source of life of the body. Correct posture: placing our body weight on our musculoskeletal system in the most correct, painless and effortless way. In a dynamic or stable posture, we want our head, shoulders and hips to be aligned and our right and left symmetry to be the same, because in the qigong approach of Chinese medicine, the smoother the external body is, the healthier and smoother the internal flow will be. Correct breathing: nourishing the body with enough breath and breathing. is associated with excretion. Correct breathing; Diaphragm is horizontal breathing, which we also call abdominal breathing. Correct mind: It represents the state in which the mind is used efficiently and sparingly. The mind is at its healthiest when it is completely filled with wherever we are and whatever we are doing. The right mind is not to stay in the moment but to flow with the moment. Making these three pillars a habit increases the efficiency of qigong. Whenever these three keys are met, one is practicing qigong, even if the action is not a correct qigong practice. The ability and habit of maintaining these 3 truths obtained during real qigong practices outside of qigong practices develops. The movements and postures included in qigong practices, together with correct breathing and mind management, stimulate the relevant tasks in the formation phase of qi and support the continuity of harmonious functions. Qigong, which provides the same support in the formation of qi as it does in the transportation and circulation of qi, ensures that our body is nourished with enough life energy and that life energy reaches the whole body smoothly.
